Method of Wearing Blue Sapphire : Keep the iron or steel plate. Light the lamp. Spread till over the plate. Wash the ring, apply sandal and kumkum to it and place it on the plate. Recite Shani Mantra with blue flowers. Offer Prasad of till rice (cooked rice mixed with till). Offer this till rice, black cloth (if it is winter donate black shawl) to eight beggars or poor along with Rs.10/- to each one.

(D) Care and Cleaning : Blue Sapphire can be cleaned with a gemstone cleaning cloth and warm water with dish detergent. For deeper cleaning, soak the piece of sapphire ring or pendant in a dish detergent and warm water solution for 10 to 20 minutes, and then scrub gently but firmly with a soft cloth or makeup brush to remove any residues and dirt.
